Campus Marketing – Student Centered
This collection represents a small portion of the campus marketing designed while at NC State University. The Office for Institutional Equity and Diversity includes four campus community centers for students, all physical spaces where students come together with others of a shared identity and with like-minded goals. It was my job to ensure marketing for each center spoke primarily to the unique students population to draw them into spaces for non structured time and planned events as well.
PROFESSIONAL COLLATERAL AND COMMUNICATIONS
At many businesses and organizations, it’s important to stay on brand and keep the continuity of marketing through many mediums. For the following pieces, staying on brand was a priority – especially in freelance and contract work with companies and businesses I didn’t have a long-term relationship with. Clients trust my expertise with their brand, and my ability to keep their standards in tact, whether for short or long term projects.
PHOTOGRAPHY
During my time at NC State, I was able to personally build a large library of images for our unit, which has grown to span over ten years of campus life. What initially started as a way to create our own stock images of multicultural student life for internal marketing use soon became a historical archive of images, activities and life on campus for the student populations we served as well as faculty and staff who engaged with our unit. I have photographed, top name lecturers, speakers, celebrities and academics, and mentored and aided students who had interests in growing their own photography skills.
